As a cishet male i dont feel in the position to give an opinion about it, i just want to know how you feel about it

I’d never heard of it so i looked it up and it describes where i’ve landed in life quite well, excepting the activism side of it and the shaved head.

I feel like it’s an understandable reaction to the rise of incel culture, i just hope they don’t go off the misandrist deep end. They remind me of MGTOW, if you want to go your own way that’s fine, but it ends up in attacking people instead of just avoiding them.

I also feel that proselytising a lifestyle (like antinatalism) is a bit weird. I don’t do anything beauty related andI think paying good money to get your nails done is completely bonkers but it’s none of my business so i leave them to it.

I don’t know what the rules are here but i have no problem hearing opinions from cishet males btw. It’s my belief that men need to be part of the conversation or we will all get nowhere.

there are no rules about that here, i just thought that i wasnt able to give a good opinion about that because i am not a woman and therefore i dont face marriage the same way a woman does, i will never experience pregnancy, and in general i felt that i didnt had the life experience / point of view needed to give an opinion about that (sorry if i explain miyself like shit)

It sounds like it is response to a very specific social environment; I don’t know how effective it is within that environment but I wish them the best of luck.

I do think in particular the switch they are trying to make in public consciousness from referring to women as “unmarried” towards referring to them as “single” is an important switch, though, as it fights the framing if marriage as default.

For the naive cishet male: Could you say a bit more about the 4B movement? I don’t know what that is.

is a south korean radical feminist movement that refuses to date men, have sex with men, get married or have children. Its name comes from the four no’s (no sex with men, no giving birth, no dating men, no marriage with men)
