Or the “home page” or whatever it’s called here. I have tried different sortings, but all the top results are the same as they were the last two days. Each sort ( all active / all hot / subscribed active / subscribed hot) gives different results, but it’s the same results for the past two days now. Am I doing something wrong? It’s very frustrating, because I’ve already read and interacted with those posts, and I have to keep scrolling forever to find stuff I haven’t seen yet.
When I sort by “new” I get new posts, but none of them have anyone to interact with or reply to, since they’re new. I’m okay being among the first to comment, but I’m here looking for interaction. I like reading other people’s takes/opinions on things, and I enjoy having conversations. I can comment on multiple new posts without getting any interaction.
I believe this is a know issue that’s being fixed in the next version that’s soon too be released. You can change your default sort though, try all and new.
Thank you! I thought maybe I was missing a setting somewhere that specified a time frame, like “don’t show new posts in hot” or something, lol. I appreciate you.
I switched my default preference to “subscribed” and “new comments”. Hot feels broken to me.
As an aside, I wish I could weight certain feeds higher, or even automatic priority if they are low volume communities. Just want to make sure new and unique activity isn’t drowned out.

I had the issue the past two days, and literally like an hour after I posted this it was fixed. Another person commented before that that it was a bug which was known about and was getting fixed, so I’m hoping it really is fixed now. I now have things from a few hours ago and more recent with decent amounts of comments. I appreciate your input!

I’ve noticed that new stuff does populate, just very, very slowly. I think part of it is that there was a huge deluge of Reddit refugees who came in, posted A LOT on a very small number of posts compared to the baseline, and sort of broke the scale.
I’ve been compensating by sorting by New and Active from time to time when I’m need some fresh content.
I would guess that many instances also aren’t ready for the user influx.
