        Probably quite warm. Snow is a good insulator because it traps a lot of air. And any breeze will go straight over the top.

          “Quite warm” is probably overstating it a bit. Ambient temperature gonna get ya.

          “quite warm”? How could snow being an insulator even help in this situation at all? Would it be any different if it were conducting as good as copper?

      I wouldn’t at all be surprised if people do this in my country. We crave sunshine here during winter. It’s a good anti-depressant
