The picture makes it seem deceptively small since there’s no sense of scale. 38 cm long (14 in) so about 1.2 bananas.
I think this might actually be a sculptors joke. Thats how horses stand when they piss. Also, when your horse is pissing, its decent to lean as far forward as you can to take the weight off their back legs, similar to how the rider is positioned.
