what if everyone’s skeleton is psychically screaming out to the undead skeletons to come free them from their meat prisons

That’d be a sick mechanic. Spend too long around skeleton enemies, your own skeleton breaks free to join them.
That would explain the voices in my head.
They’re doing it skelepathically.
