Never heard of it. In a world without tv ads, how do people learn about movies coming out?

The trailers shown before the previous movie you’ve seen. At least that’s how it is for me, and it’s how I learned of The Wild Robot

I went to the cinema on Saturday and didn’t get a trailer for this. This post is the first I’ve heard of it too.

I wait for people to start making memes from new movies and then look them up. I’m behind the times though.

Letterboxd has user made lists of upcoming movies, either with dates announced or just announced projects. Fun to flick through and see what directors I enjoy are working on.

I found about The Wild Robot movie from a giant billboard on the side of a building at Universal Studios. Since my kids both loved the books, it caught our attention and we looked up the trailer.

I subscribe to the YouTube channels of film and television production studios and often browse my Subscription page instead of the homepage to find videos to watch, I often see trailers there. I also get a bunch of new trailers in my homepage too since I’ve watched so many.

Trailers get posted around, and I saw the trailer for this before Inside Out 2. Plus I saw a poster at the theater.

Got a 8.2 on imdb. Guess I’ll check it out. My partner was in from the trailer but I’m skeptical.

Well I Saw it today and it was 10/10. Movies hooks you in with top level comedy before it gets real. Like People were crying in the theater real. The movie does not hold back on its messaging and it is so much better for it. As my partner said “it’s more about the journey than the plot” I was a bit shocked with the ending but I can see why they chose it if they wanted a sequel. Certainlly great for all ages but if you are afraid of exposing a child to the concepts of death you may want to wait cause there is bit of it. If you liked Walle then you will like this.
