I have to click on that little mark thingy so they leave my notification bell

Yeah this is kind of annoying… Wish they would be marked as read as soon as you saw them
I prefer the old Reddit/Res (not sure which) behavior that marks a message as read when you interact with it in any way (click on it, reply, etc).
I like going through most of my inbox in one pass, then come back to the messages that deserve more thought.
I’ve noticed this weird behavior both in browser and with apps. I usually have to manually click “mark as read” to clear my inbox every time.
