    My wife and I weren’t able to buy our first house until our late 40’s, but I have friends who bought in their mid-twenties. Everyone’s situation is different. We didn’t have a shred of parental or family support to help us.

    I’m the 1970s 70% owned their homes by age 35. But it is still above 50 % today, not as dramatic as I assumed when I just looked up the numbers.
