for anyone who has been on Reddit for a long time, you’ve noticed a downturn in the quality of almost everything. With the release of chatbots and the advances in ai, there is a strong likelihood of Reddit becoming just bots talking to bots. What if he has info that it is happening more than we suspected and figures the platform is doomed, and it’s time to cash out because no one can stop it? he wouldn’t be able to say so.
Based on some of his recent interviews, he’s just a narcissistic idiot driving it straight into the ground like Elmo is doing to Twitter. In fact, in one of his interviews he actually praises how Musk is running Twitter and states that he’s trying to emulate that. Idiot.
How dare you sully the name of Elmo. Elmo is kind and thoughtful. Also fuck elon.
I don’t think he’s doing a very good job of cashing out lol
Doing a good job doesn’t really seem to be his thing…
in what way? because in making it public he still has so much exposure?
Mostly joking but I’m thinking all this drama isn’t going to help the IPO
what else can he do?
Not kill 3rd party apps. Charge a reasonable price in a reasonable amount of time for the API.
Occam’s razor says, “no”.
It would likely be illegal if he withheld that info from investors or buyers.
I guess he could be trying to get a bunch of ad money? But what’s his end game?
And CEOs are very well known for being honest to investors /s
“Winning”
Not a real problem! Solution:
- Flood Reddit with AI generated content so it looks alive
- Allow bots to borrow money
- Teach bots to parse ads
- Allow bots to spend borrowed money on cheap plastic shit from China
- ???
- Profit!
What if u/spez is just a very advanced AI?
