This is likely the blade style battery that is in the latest gen BYD Seal and Mercedes EVs. BYD is supposed to be on selling it to more manufacturers, probably all this was
apples required profit margins dont exist in car sales. car subscription perhaps if self driving is solved and legalized.
I am really hoping at some point Apple buys Tesla.
Apple like its quality hardware.
Tesla hardware is more like wish.com materials.

Hard pass on them buying Rivian. I don’t want my truck locked into their walled garden. Apple making BEVs makes very little sense at all, but I could see them getting into the infotainment and body controller business if they wanted to branch out in the hardware space.
You are right it could be Rivian as well and they would be much cheaper in the near future than Tesla.
