    Human consumption

In addition to being used as a dog treat, pizzles are also eaten by humans for their purported health benefits…

That takes the phrase “eat a bag of dicks” to a whole new level.

I’ve been to a Vietnamese restaurant that specialized in Pizzle Pho. I had to Google what Pizzle is… . Needless to say I didn’t try it

They make low odor bull pizzles, too. Which of course means my dog prefers the full odor ones…

Have you ever smelled a beefy desiccated detached dick before? Cool. Now cover that in dog spit eight or nine times and let it dry in between.

          It smells like that.

Dead jerky? It’s worse when it’s wet.

I’ve read that the low odor ones have residual urine drained, but that doesn’t make much sense to me; wouldn’t it drain automatically during processing?

Pee is stored in the balls, not the pizzle

I don’t see why people are getting squeamish about this, if you’ve ever eaten a hot dog or ground beef… You’ve already enjoyed it

Pizzle is a Middle English word for penis, derived from Low German pesel or Flemish Dutch pezel, diminutive of the Dutch language pees, meaning ‘sinew’.[1][2] The word is used today to signify the penis of an animal,[3] chiefly in Australia and New Zealand.[4]
