Oh man. I loved the Netflix Daredevil series. I’m glad to hear it’s making a comeback!

Also with the whole cast, Foggy, Karen, Punisher, everyone.

Maybe someday Jessica Jones & Luke Cage can show up. (And Danny Rand, but I’m ok if we handwave/retcon some of his story.)

Honestly Iron Fist was just starting to get good when it was cancelled. The whole 1st season was a wasted opportunity but the 2nd season was totally on an upward trajectory.

Yeah they basically addressed all the major complaints with season 1, and Danny’s cameo in Luke Cage showed promise too.

Honestly I agree. If they wanted to bring Finn Jones back, just pretend the season 2 story happened and continue from there.

(Although I imagine if they bring any of them back they will yada yada yada all of their backstories. Netflix will be a different universe and in the MCU universe things were similar, but not 100% the same.)

Yeah let the writers do whatever they need to get us to the rest of the immortal weapons stories. It was one of the best runs of the comics and one that would make for a fun season.

Cool cool, but I’m chunkling at the name given it sounds like Daredevil is going to find God and go all soft and preachy.

Umm, that’s basically part of the comics, he’s a devout catholic and spends half his time trying to understand the metaphysical concept of justice while beating people to a pulp.

Considering there are literal gods in the world and beings with immense power, I wonder why most people don’t go crazy

I hope it’s good. That said, I thought the writing and characterization for Fisk in Hawkeye was rather disappointing. And also, the writing for the later half Daredevil season 2 on Netflix was… not good. I don’t recall if I saw the third season, but I remember being very genuinely disappointed in The Defenders. Not disappointed like a bitter comic book nerd, more disappointed like a parent. Like… there was so much there you could’ve done! That was all? Oh well. Points for trying, I still love you.

Anyway, time will tell. I’m happy that they’re trying, but I won’t get my hopes up yet.

Did you watch Echo? What do you feel about Fisk’s characterization there?

Agree on The Defenders. I think I never even finished watching that one.

It’s a unique vibe for sure. People who complain “all Marvel is the same” should watch this one.

I gave Echo a 3,5 out of 5 - for comparison, Loki season 1 scored the same, TFatWS scored 2,5 and both Wandavision and Hawkeye scored a 4 from me.

I don’t have much faith in this one. The original three seasons was amazing. But this is going to have Foggy, Sara, Punisher, and Bullseye back again? Considering how the show ended I don’t see how it makes sense to have any of them back. Except for maybe Foggy.

This has been my most hyped MCU project since Matt showed up in NWH

I hope I don’t have to watch any of the “new” Disney shows for this.
