Pretty much all of life actually is entirely dependent on the sun, so worshipping it is understandable tbh
If we’re gonna worship some powerful entity, the sun’s it. Nothing in our neck of the cosmic woods even comes close to the power it produces.

The celestial source of all energy on Earth? Vital for life, and yet terrible, agonising to truly behold? Merely remaining in its presence burns the skin, and yet without its touch we become withdrawn, depressed? It’s coming quite literally heralds the dawn?
