Delta Air Lines Inc. sued cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. over the chaos caused this summer by a “catastrophic” software update that disabled millions of computers worldwide and grounded much of the airline’s passenger fleet.
As they should. I get that a build error caused this, but not testing the build before pushing it to millions is pretty unforgivable. It had real monetary consequences and they should share in those losses.
Looks like all these companies suing CrowdStrike didn’t read the Terms of Service that says “we are not liable for any damages”.
