@[email protected] @TechRadar @[email protected] it’s either a conspiracy to spy on you, or the developers accidentally left on microphone access in the app’s manifest.
Presumably this is an app? Why do you need this app? Air fryers are such a fad, 20 years ago it was those three tiered steamers.
My guess is the 'legitimate reason is for voice activation and a bunch of companies are just adding that to everything to justify harvesting more data.
Why do we need to guess? It’s not that difficult to check, but I guess that would require actual journalism.
