    I guess I don’t understand why this is such a difficult concept to understand.

    Pick as many or as little candidates you want for the position and then rank them.

    If you are wanting to phone it in just vote for the one candidate like the old system.

        I feel like if they would have put Choice 1, Choice 2 or 1st Choice, 2nd Choice it might have gone over better.

        I mean, it’s not like it doesn’t make sense how it is, but it could have been simplified even further. Some people apparently need that.

        Could have easily been written that way on purpose also to discourage people from using it.

        I mean it’s just like asking a kid what they want for Christmas. If you ask them to give you a list they will probably let you know exactly which ones they want the most. It’s really not that difficult but people often overthink these things and this is what you end up with.

    Wonder how many people got to this page on their ballot, then immediately changed their vote on 117 to “no”.

      The Wiki shows Mulnomah County voted for it by 50-60%, but I don’t see a source for it.
