Looks like they’re at least they’re blaming themselves on this one, from what it sounds like. A lack of marketing, and failure to generate buzz.

The game is very unique.
Really got excited about it, especially after I played through the demo. I loved the vibe, the art, the music.
But denuvo and the price were the blockers for me.Oh! I’d never heard about this game before now, but it looks really cool. Too bad about denuvo though, that’s a nope from me too.
I heard about it for the first time today. It does look pretty cool. Didn’t know about Denuvo, tho.
Yeah I saw it nominated for the game awards when I went and looked earlier. Looked neat but if it’s denuvo I guess not.
