If there’s a pretty good chance that you, with a one score lead, are not going to make it a two score lead, there’s no particular reason to worry about the clock with five or six minutes left. You may very well need to have a possession after the other team gets one.

To be clear, I went to a D3 school with no football team, and I don’t have any money on the games, so I don’t have a personal interest in any of the games. I just support #TeamChaos.

This is becoming a bloodbath. I’m torn: on one hand a&m losing is always fun but on the other we really need them to be perceived as a strong opponent for our resume
conversely, I don’t want them to be in a position to take OUR cfp spot
I really hope Army can keep their undefeated streak alive. It’s been a real pleasure to see a service school do so well in an age of NIL Deals.
In a weird way the transfer portal and NIL probably help the service academies. Teamwork is still a huge part of the game and the constant transfers hurt that. The lesser teams also lose their better players after a season or two to the bigger programs, which makes up the majority of Army’s schedule.
