    tried elden ring, sure felt like demon souls
    tried it again a year later with an easy mode mod, same thing character creator is also kinda not good

    I hoped i could see what everyone else is seeing, but alas

      Sometimes the difficulty isn’t the problem, it seems, but the game (genre) itself. A bummer for sure but at least you did give it a fair shot.

    ER is the easy mode. It’s a watered down open world experience for the masses. It’s the lowest common denominator of souls games.
