    Also, “largest commercial space contract awarded” is a bit of a hair splitting thing. If Starlink and SpaceX were separate entities, that contract would dwarf this.

      True, but I’m not sure that the contract would have taken place (or been as large) if Starlink and SpaceX were not vertically integrated. A big advantage for Starlink is that they can launch “at cost”.

    Xitter probably showed Elon’s tweet on his timeline as if it were a relevant new post. Shouldn’t need to check if a post at the top of your timeline is 3 years old, but Elon has fucked up that company so much that it’s not only plausible but extremely likely.

      That happens on all thread-based or forum based media, including the Fediverse. Who hasn’t written some quick take that will have everyone rolling and then realized the thread is old?
