Honestly, I hope the entirety of the party leadership get ousted by the rank and file. As a reaction to the current circumstances, it’s far more than fair.
The rank and file has next to no say in the party, compared to elected officials and big donors.
Here, “rank and file” means “D elected officials who are not in leadership positions but are fed up with the feckless leadership and its results”
Good. Ineffective centrists killed the party’s credibility and it cost us dearly. They should not be in leadership because they don’t lead.
They’re going to replace them with real progressives, right?
Right???
The people seeking to replace them do seem to be more progressive, yes.

Imagine if they’d bothered to do that 20 years ago.
The we’d have younger centrists in charge. Oh well.
