Looks like they will need to add a new chapter to the next printing.

Maybe it was all a publicity stunt to sell more books.

This was the plot of the John Grisham book, and Francis Ford Coppola movie The Rainmaker, it was supposed to be a scandal, punishable by law, and now it’s just something we all accept as the cost of being alive in America, so stockholders can increase their value, and corporations can fete their executives … well, one less today than yesterday.

First time the US is united since 911. It seems more people are cheer about this trash being “denied claim to life” then when Obama killed Osama lol

I didnt expect reddit to come this strong but holly shit, plebs cheering on a death of a parasite, regime whores haven’t came out to condemn it in fear…

I just hope Lemmy learnt something when they tried to censor comments on the issue. Meanwhile Reddit is looking like the free speech platform now.

Wait, what? I can’t find any info about this – can you fill me in on what kind of censorship happened here on Lemmy?

That seems more “Lemmy.world” than “Lemmy”.

And I thought it was established quite some time back that admins there go by what they think laws mean rather than actually consulting a lawyer.

Well yes, but when .world is the biggest instance on Lemmy, it’s understandable when people conflate the two.

Part of the problem of people being too used to centralization, and default instances in apps I suppose.

Thank you for links and explanation. It’s disappointing to see some mods are going this direction.

Lemmy mods kept removing threads because peasants were gloating over dead parasite.

Reddit some how just let it roll and holly fucking Batman, there is something raw about it.

Peasant class is really ripe for this message.

Zero tear shed, regime whores and owners can’t even condemn the “senseless murdet” because they are in fear.

We always suspected Lemmy world mods being neo lib acolytes and they acted it on this issue.

And yet all of the remaining comments are still gloating about the dead parasite and cheers the anti hero…

They decide to let plebs run wild as to not npiss them off

If only there were a democratic way to remove crazy mods. Though temporary bans aren’t a big deal tbh.
