I have tried Jerboa and Liftoff until now, and both have issues loading the “subscribes”-list from Lemmy.world.

There are no issues loading the “all”-list. I also have an account on feddit.nl, and for that account, it works just fine.

EDIT: okay, so I just noticed that when I go the account settings in Liftoff (I don’t have Jerboa installed currently), I can edit me account-details for the feddit.nl-account (like upload an avatar or change displayed name). When I click on the dot world-account however, I get an error-messge: “Error: null check operator used on a null value”. No idea if this is useful or not?

I installed Jerboa and gave it a test. Seems to work fine for me? I tried all possible listings active/hot/new/old/top … All fine.

Can you try to remove your account in Jerboa and add it again? If that works probably do the same in Liftoff

As in the feed of communities you are subscribed to? I just tried in Connect and it works for me.

Yes, that is what I meant.

Both Jerboa and Liftoff give me issues, and only on my dot world-account.

At first they work as expected, but after a day the feed won’t load anymore. It just keeps displaying the loading-symbol…

Dot world is unreliable. I have noticed exactly same thing. I think it is not about Jerboa, but the instance it self.

Check the status page when you are having troubles to confirm.

Those are the first two apps I tried. I just recently downloaded Connect and it has been ok so far. I haven’t been using it for very long, though.

I think you probably just got unlucky with timing before. Lemmy.world had some slow/broky spots today and I’ll bet you just happened to me messing with the subscribed feed during one of them, and connect just happens to be working for you now.

I just installed connect to try this, but I can’t find where I can request the subscribed-feed…

Only the all-feed, or specific communities I have subscribed to…

Edit: after adding my other account to it, Connect refuses to switch back to my dot world-account. When I try that, it states there was an error and it can’t switch to that account. At this point in time, I’m quite convinced that the issue lies with lemmy.world since all 3 android-apps I tried have issues, and they all have it with this instance, but not with another instance…

Where should I make a report or something to get the admin to be aware of this?

I’m sorry, I’m not sure what you mean by this?

It’s another Lemmy instance that you can switch to if Lemmy.world is unavailable.

Okay. I have that, it’s on feddit.nl as already said. But that does not help solve the problems on lemmy.world.

By the way: does this mean you are also experiencing similar problems as I describe?

Everybody has because lemmy.world has been down a few times over the last few weeks.
