I really don’t understand how a gay black man can be in the current Republican Party without large levels of self-loathing.
Large levels of grift money. Also self-loathing like you mentioned.
Probably the same way a huge portion of the black population is Christian.
Religion is a hell of a drug.
I’d love to hear which views he actually shares with the party.

@ManyRoads He might understand, but he’ll be an “also-ran”.
It might actually be a decent strategy for making Florida a bit better, running on principles people actually like but with the republican name. Depends what his other stances are though.
