That sounds like some kind of weird sim game. Guessing, no?

War Thunder is a sim game. In the forums, for some reason, classified documents are often leaked (I think to settle arguments over whether X plane/tank/weapon behaves correctly in scenario Y). The Eurofighter Typhoon is a fighter jet built in cooperation between multiple European countries.

From the previous times details about the typhoon were posted to try and get the devs to add the plane.

              Not very effective.

And you don’t do it why exactly? It’s Wikipedia after all

This page is protected, you need to have made a certain number of edits to other pages before you can update it.

This edit count is separate for each language. I normally contribute to my native language’s Wikipedia, not English.

So? The approach in this case is to request an edit with the text you’ve prepared. As a seasoned Wikipedia editor you should be aware of this.

I already have full editing rights for most locked articles. I don’t need to request anything.

Apparently posting it caused enough load to take down my pict-rs server, sorry about that.

Ive played flight sim games for years and there is nothing quite like the pedantry of online people who fly desks. Why warthunder though? is it just a matter of a huge player base? Why would people with access to good information and a passion for accuracy play an arcade game?

All these leaks and those shitwad russian shill gayjin devs still can’t get their head out of their ass to make the game better in literally any way.

    • PS2 era graphics

    • Equivalent performance of Windows Vista

    • More money hog than EA and Ubisoft combined

    • Shittier net code than Nintendo

    • Game Engine made by pissing on the keyboard

    • Actually convinced Valve to remove their negative reviews on steam somehow

It pretty much became a coping simulator after the Ukraine war started.

I bet it’s just a front by a Nation State to get random people to post military leaks and that’s why it’s so crappy

        This is a joke, right?

Like they put millions of dollars into a random video game on the hope, wish, qnd dream that not only does it get super popular, but it does so to the point that people with access to classified documents are willing to leak them in exchange for winning an argument?

I have no skin in the game one way or another but maybe it’s time to consider that there is no russian bias and that soviet designs are superior in some ways
