Nothing like making money off of someone’s rebellion against a capitalist system, am I right?
Hopefully they make some merch. I really want a t-shirt highlighting my disapproval of capitalism.
People are buying such shirts right and left. Multiple people on Lemmy have talked about how they got theirs recently.

It’s like an episode of Black Mirror.
The governor of New York should give him a full pardon, and the mayor of NYC should throw him a parade.
That’s obviously not going to happen. The governor of New York held a CEO safety meeting and is mulling a hotline that CEOs can call for safety.
And the mayor is under a federal corruption investigation, and has signalled that he would flip to republican if it helped him out.

People have always wanted to see shows about their heroes.
The guy definitely presents engaging stories. His Amanda Knox documentary was great as was How to Rob a Bank. It definitely makes sense to make a documentary on Mangione considering given the widespread sympathy for him. I do hope he donates the proceeds to something that will help people access affordable healthcare.
That would be an interesting “who would murder whom first” hypothetical battle. First, they need to be roommates.
