That thud was the sound of Josh Revell’s boxers hitting the floor.

Good on him though. Exciting driver, lots of promise, and seems to learn quickly. I just hope he doesn’t sink like Albon or Kvyat.

The scrap for Lawson’s seat will be good though. I think Hadjar’s pretty handy, but I suspect a heavy lean from Honda will see Iwasu there instead.

If Honda still had any real sway in redbull Tsunoda would’ve been in that seat. They threw Honda a bone by letting him test the car, but even then top management didn’t bother to show up for it.

I don’t know what happened to Perez (long Covid? statistically it should happen also to top sportspeople) but it has been painful to watch the decline.

Is putting another youngster that barely proved himself into the vice championship seat really a good idea? Like, yeah, Perez needed to go, but Lawson? Really? Not that I don’t like him, but he not even drove half a season. It’s Albons story all over again. I hope he can prove himself.

He just lost all confidence going up against Max in a car that didn’t suit his driving preferences at all. Ever since Miami 2023 he hasn’t looked the same.

Hopefully he can make the most of the opportunity. Yuki’ll need to pull a Gasly to get anywhere.
