There’s nothing a new mother likes more than being told how to please her husband – right?

“There are differences in the way men and women feel and think,” one flyer reads. “One of the reasons for this is the structural difference in the brains of men and women. It is known that men act based on theories, while women act based on emotions.”

Ew, it’s the whole thing and not just a one sentence slip. Not surprising, but still disappointing. Being an angry asshole because of testosterone is still 100% acting on emotion and not logic.

Japan isn’t the most egalitarian country.

It’s a work in progress, but for example, groping and sexual harassment is common enough problem that there are gender segregated carriages on trains. Carriages for women only because men can’t behave.

husbands and new fathers like to be thanked for carrying out basic tasks such as washing the dishes, changing diapers, and holding their child.

Wives may irritate their husbands if they are “busy taking care of the baby and not doing chores” the flyer said, advising women not to “get frustrated for no reason.”

Kick that man baby out of you house lol

is r/worldnews locked or down on Reddit? When I try to open doesn’t work. Still the best place for worldnews unfortunately.

Couldn’t tell you; haven’t really touched Reddit since the original Blackout and haven’t missed it at all.

If you want this community/magazine to be better, might I suggest you be the change you want to see and start posting articles and making comments on the topics being talked about? Active users make for active communities.

Yeah I truly want to void Reddit completely but when I see the active user count here as sub 200 and then 32k on Reddit it’s tough to let go.

Maybe I’ll start helping to increase the activity here. I love Lemmy/kbin but I just can’t let go yet!

That’s what I’m doing. I never posted anything on Reddit. But I decided to actively start posting over here to try to help the communities/magazines grow. So I’ll post anything I see that’s interesting to me, and in a bunch of different magazines. I’ve had to make a concentrated effort to drop my lurker tendencies.

Yeah I know it was but I had no where else to find and ask I’m sorry. I’d really like to see this place not become toxic like Reddit…. But so far…

Yeah, there’s sadly a lot of toxicity so far over here. I think a big part of it is there’s not so much active mod management. You’ve got to stop the toxicity when it starts out it becomes the culture. I’m kinda sad to see kbin and lemmy becoming just like Reddit in that respect.

You don’t have to be sorry. I just think it’s polite to the original poster than when we have things to say that aren’t necessarily related to the topic the poster chose for a person to then hit the “create new post” button, then add a title and then whatever text was your comment can be the body. Now there’s even more content on lemmy/kbin! Have a swell day.
