Ha, nah, hockey makes me ill.
I get the moment that it met, and why it was so popular as a result, but it was the embodiment of toxic positivity.
The show gets into that in season 2. Ted is NOT ok in part because of his slavish devotion to positivity despite not being ok. I think it did a good job of illustrating that you can’t just wish problems away with a can do attitude.
And iPhones in every fucking shot. I get it but it’s too too much…
