In 2023, I had 97% Linux with the only Windows games being Skyrim and Fallout 4 because of modding.
Now that I got modding to work on Linux I resolved to have 100% playtime on Linux for 2024. But Steam Replay says nothing because its still only one device :(.

I don’t even have Steam on my Windows install as all my games work fine on Linux. Honestly I should probably just uninstall Windows at this point, I don’t think I’ve used it in months.
I still have Windows but haven’t logged in in over a year. I use Bottles for all non-Steam apps.
As a fairly new Linux user, I haven’t managed to run a single program through bottles. Just never works for me. Luckily I could get by so far with proton and auto generated lutris entries, but especially the latter I wasn’t able to configure manually either.
Does Bottles work well with, say, Photoshop or Autodesk Fusion?
Your best bet for finding compatibility with WINE (and by extension Bottles, because that’s what it uses) is through their AppDB:

As with many things WINE, the answer is “it depends” (silver is workable, but still has very significant flaws). You can always try it out yourself, and I recommend walking through the HowTos that people post in the listings and the known bugs. The two programs you asked about are particularly difficult, as they are incredibly complex and use many libraries that are specific to only their own application, meaning their implementation in WINE is not priority (WINE tries to be as compatible as possible, targeting the broadest stuff first before gradually narrowing). Most programs “just work” through WINE, but these two in particular have been struggles to get working for years. Development is always happening, so I recommend to try it out if you’re curious if it’ll work for you. And if not, perhaps it will be better in a couple years.
The token recommendation for apps that don’t work through WINE is to try to find alternatives that play nicer. After all, supporting the anticompetitive business practices of Adobe or Autodesk spits in the face of Linux and the libre software movement as a whole. If you are able to reasonably find alternatives, then that would be ideal, but I find that recommendation quite naïve. As an alternative, you can run Windows in a VM from Linux, or you could dual boot if you only need to use these programs occasionally.
Bottles is really just a frontend for WINE with some extra features baked into the GUI to make the experience better for the end user. Compatibility in Bottles will still be determined by the compatibility a program has through WINE.

I switched to Linux after the Recall junk, and one drive kept trying to sync my files when the PC was idle. (One drive was disabled!!!)
It’s weird that the graph does not show my steam deck at all. I got it around launch, then got my wife one too. Now she runs Linux on her computer too.
Google photos on Android keeps syncing my images even when it was disabled. You can’t trust these guys.

Mine says 99% Steam Deck and 1% Linux, which is weird considering they’re the same thing.
But probably 50% was on my desktop, which also shows up as Steam Deck under Bazzite.
Next year, play on a generic desktop Linux distribution as well as Steam Deck. They’ll show up as distinct platforms:

There is expected to be an announcement at CES that Valve is partnering to bring other vendors into making SteamOS handhelds, so you likely will get your chance at something soon.
I hate to say but you’re missing out. I wasn’t sure if it was for me in the beginning but according to steam I’ve done a third of my gaming this year on it
Being able to mod Skyrim on Linux was the final nail in Window’s coffin for me too! Haven’t found a game that doesn’t work…even anti-cheat games like Elden Ring work flawlessly with Proton.

Mine certainly didn’t show any kind of OS breakdown. I would have thought if you didn’t use more than 1 OS, it probably just skips showing you the stats.

Wait, what changed with Skyrim modding?
Technically you could mod these games on Linux but it was a bit wonky. So I preferred to play these on Windows with MO2.
Then I started using Steam Tinker Launch to setup and run MO2 on Linux and thus stopped using Windows.
However STL does not seem to be getting updates these days so I now use this for modding Skyrim, Fallout, etc: https://github.com/rockerbacon/modorganizer2-linux-installer
Edit: Nexus mods are also working on a cross-platform app for modding, though its still in alpha. Currently only a few games are supported with support for more coming soon.
Anyone know if Bazzite counts as Steam Deck or Linux as it uses Big Picture Mode by default?
Also if you run Windows or Bazzite on a Steam Deck does that count as Steam Deck or just Windows and Linux?
Bazzite counts as a Steam Deck when you’re playing in Steam mode, Linux when in desktop mode.
Is that the same on SteamOS?
It counts Bazzite as SteamOS.
