Magnus is good enough he doesn’t give a fuck.

Any title he doesn’t hold essentially comes with an asterisk that he didn’t compete

I think we are repeating the Kasparov split from FIDE from the early 90s. Magnus is bigger than FIDE and will win this fight.

He was wearing a suit coat, tucked-in dress shirt, dress shoes, and jeans. Apparently he had gone to a lunch meeting immediately prior to the tournament and forgot to change out of the jeans since he was in a hurry. This ruling seems arbitrary and stodgy.

Yes. I think there’s a lot bubbling under the surface we aren’t aware of.

Imagine kicking out the most famous chess player because they were dressed like a poor. It’s like if Tom Brady wasn’t allowed to compete in the Superbowl because he was wearing Vans in the locker room

Mf is the best in the world at Rapid, and it isn’t even close. That competition just became a race to second place

Anytime I say the word poor as a noun, you can assume I’m taking on the perspective of a pompous rich bastard, and I’m pronouncing it “pooh-r”

Right? Plus “jeans” is plural where I’m from. Like “pants”. So the title should be “Jeans take out…” Not “Jeans takes out”. The latter makes it sound like a name.
