    First time I’ve felt more excited for the non-Archon character in an Archon release patch than the actual Archon

      Seriously lol, I feel the same so far. Probably doesn’t help that mauvika is pyro main DPS number…I don’t even know, we have way too many. Character-wise, I like both and obviously mauvika is going to get a lot of development the upcoming patch so maybe we’ll see.

          Same, and I went and got her weapon and c1 when she released too, so definitely even less motivated now lol

          Nope, but Chevy is on her banner and I don’t have guarantee so I’m gonna pull for Chevy / C1. And new girl.

            Wait really?? Is Chevy gonna be on both banners then? She’s really been avoiding me every time she runs. I think I still somehow only have her at c1 despite rolling every banner she’s run on lol

      Mavuika’s character being Generic Woman really isn’t helping. It’s pretty strange to see the Genshin writing team stumbling so badly with her, since they’ve done a pretty decent job at making the other archons compelling and distinctive.

        I think it’s not so much that the writing is bad for her, honestly. She touched on the struggles of an immortal/long-life individual in her own way, and how much she has sacrificed (and even forgotten) to save her people. I know genshin loves doing this for various different aspects of long life, like zhongli’s, furina’a, xiao’s, etc but I thought mauvika’s is definitely a bit more different? She’s even been at points where she’s wanted to give up, even forgetting the faces of her own family because of how long it’s been. Furina’s case was already depressing but mauvika being a normal human being roped into living for so long makes it a lot more relatable, esp when she sacrifices the mementos she had saved from years just to save kachina too. I definitely really like her as a character, far far more than I thought I would based on her initial appearance and design.
