Hello minis gang, here is your third of an ongoing series of regular community posts. If you have any ideas for new ones please DM me!
In this thread which I will leave up all week, we can post the minis we are working on but which aren’t ready for a full showing yet!
The WIP thread over on /c/Warhammer40k has some great resources if you need some inspiration https://lemmy.world/post/2376044
This week I’m hoping to make some progress in this bad boy from Bite the Bullet
Oooh dayum. Im getting strong Diablo vibes. That’s a great model imo.
What colors are you looking to use? In my head he is either Diablo butcher red oder foul green.
Yes BtB do takes on video games occasionally, so it’s definitely Diablo inspired!
I think it’s got to be some kind of foul corpse green right? I’ve never painted anything very Nurgle-y so looking forward to trying that out!
That’s printed right?
What’s your printer, it’s gorgeous.
Yes it is! Elegoo Mars 3 Pro. I use Siaraya ABS-Like resin.
Working on MCP Cable. Have the basic colors down. Still a ton of work to do but happy progress towards putting him on a table top.
Been trying to pound out my ASOIAF army, however my wife and I are expecting our first child any day now, so its been a huge distractioN!
Started playing my first tabletop wargame ever. So far I was an RPG mini painter only. So I’m a bit scared to batch paint lots of models but here goes.
The hand is A song of ice and fire. I chose house Lannister as my faction.
Here’s my first color scheme test model. I decided to not use any speed paint type paints.
Only 50 more to go.
my gaming group is in love with ASOIAF, and been playing it a lot more than any of our other games. You will have a blast with it.
I love how attachments work, and how you have a political track AND actual combat.
And cards! I also love the versatile system with all the different aspects.
yea, the way cards interact with your commander means each army is thematic, but commanders change it so much!
Have a lot of fun.
Working on Agent Venom. Very slowly differentiating shades of grey, and working on his rifle.
