I believe they were dated by the archeological context in which they were found, ie that they were found as part of a neolithic era site.
Gotta defeat the four elemental guardians to collect their masks and awaken Polokus.
I can’t be the only person who sees those and thinks “Christ those would be uncomfortable.”
I can only assume they were held in front and not actually worn. I hope.
