Everyone went out and bought knockoffs of the ones that spoke to them. Bought a knockoff extra-firm Casper “with Cooling Gel” five years ago. No regrets.
Purple went expensive, with hybrid mattresses that include coils. I think they do still sell the cheaper all-foam original too.
We have an original purple from several years ago and still love it. I have no idea what we’ll look for next. It could very well be another purple.

Quit the game before I said goodbye to the deer (who is the first person if I remember correctly) because that game is too damn sad. Like it’s great, well written and I love the art style, but fuck man I’m playing games to have fun and that was not doing it for me. One of those games I’ll recommend but probably never finish.
When I played with my kid I inadvertently read Atul’s lines like Robin Williams as he seemed like a jovial kind of person. But hoo boy that hits hard afterwards. And what is sadder is it’s based off of what happened with one of the dev’s family members.

I used to have a partner like this. She would comment on my face as I’m being serious in a part of a game haha.
She was sweet however some incident caused us to realise it was no longer working on a romantic level. It’s a very sweet feeling though.
One of my exes made decent money, would bring me flowers to work occasionally, really sweet girl. She would go way out of her way to try to find common things between us like down to the point of eating the same condiments on food even if she didn’t like them.
As she approached her twenties, She started getting riskier and riskier in her extracurricular behaviors. Hanging out with people that were getting her blackout drunk, possibly having their way with her (per her own admission) still want to do hang out with them.
I poked around some years later to see where she landed, at some point she was dating an IT guy and decided to throw an IT party for him. The whole thing just burbled with sweet, and cringe. Which was pretty on target.
Glad I moved on and I’m glad it looks like she landed somewhere comfortable for her.
Damn…I gotta get an IT job…

I absolutely love watching people play Morrowind and sometimes the og XCOM. Only those games though not sure why

You can also still play a lot of old couch co-op games through an emulator or get couch co-op mods for newer games (another commenter mentioned Minecraft). There’s a lot of options.

I was surprised at the sheer quality and variety of this game.
It’s fun to play with either my kid or my wife.
The trine games! The first two are a little dated (while still being very fun) and the third one is pretty bad, but 4 or 5 are accessible and great!

edit: you can also mod Minecraft java edition to have split screen and controller support, haven’t personally tried it, but I saw a YouTuber do it lol (iirc bedrock edition has it built in but bedrock requires windows and is worse imo)
edit 2: I forgot ibb and obb. Its good, but was too difficult to play with my (at the time) 10yr sibling. Not sure how it compares with adults.Portal 2 has split screen, at least the PC version

There are some other cute switch games that are co-op. Yoshi’s crafted world was fun.
It indeed has about 10500 couch co-op games listed of which around 2500 work on PC.
