Israel is obstructing a UN investigation into alleged sexual violence committed during the Hamas-led 7 October attacks, according to a report by Haaretz.

The request, which was rejected by Israel, would have allowed the UN access into Israeli prisons to conduct investigations into the treatment of Palestinians held there.

Torture, rape and murder have all been reported as rife at the facility, one of several prisons where Palestinians have been mistreated for decades.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir confirmed that conditions inside Israeli prisons “have indeed worsened” since the war on Gaza began, adding: "I am proud of that.”

      He’s a literal terrorist…

According to his own country, and in case you want to know what a far right Jewish extremist needs to do for Israel to call them a terrorist:

He carried out a series of far-right activities that have resulted in dozens of indictments. In a November 2015 interview, he claimed to have been indicted 53 times.[18] In most cases, the charges were thrown out of court.[10] In 2007, however, he was convicted for incitement to racism and supporting a terrorist organization.[19][20] Ben-Gvir has been convicted of at least eight charges.[9]

In the 1990s, he was active in protests against the Oslo Accords. In 1995, Ben-Gvir came to public attention for the first time, when he appeared on television brandishing a Cadillac hood ornament that had been stolen from Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin’s car, and declared: “We got to his car, and we’ll get to him too.” Several weeks later, Rabin was assassinated by right-wing extremist Yigal Amir.[10][21]

Yeah, he’s a giant piece of shit and always has been.

At 18 he was so extreme the IDF refused to take him so he wasn’t just excused from mandatory service, he was prohibited from ever joining.

Now he’s the National Security Minister in charge of the police…

I think the UN needs to get it through its head that Israel has no respect for it and will continue to not have any respect for it.

The Oct. 7 massacre is more of a tool to Israel than an actual tragedy, they don’t actually care for the victims. Imagine dying horribly just for your death to either be celebrated or be used as a justification for genocide, that sounds like a horrible way to go.

I don’t think these people cared the slightest about either of these things or Trump or… while they got murdered.

Yeah, when people say “imagine being murdered only for ____ to happen” isn’t a literal statement that these people, now dead, care about these things.

Just like the dead don’t care about someone spitting on their grave. It’s for the living. See what we’re saying?

You are correct. I still do not like to see people “used” like that from someone who does not know them.

Ironically the UN created Israel, after zionists had been conducting terrorists acts in the region for decades. The UN knew and did it anyway.

Well, the UN is not some closed institution. It is the working of its member states and while UN institutions are often far further on matters of lawfulness and basic ethics, they only have limited power to enact.

The UN back then was composed very differently and if it wasnt for the US now, the UN would handle the zionist state very differently

But what about all those newspapers that promised they saw evidence? You think they would do that? Lie for Israel?

Other sex crimes, this is about Palestinians being systematically raped in Israeli camps, not the rapes that Israel exaggerated or straight up made up to justify their genocide
