"What does any of this mean? Going forward we would still be glad to have you as customers, but we’re done pretending the Republican Party’s embrace of cruelty, racism, Covid lies, climate change denial, and threats to democracy are anything other than the risks they legitimately are. If you need us to pretend you are not creating the hurt you are creating in order for you to continue to be our customer, I’m sad to say you might be happier elsewhere."

Politics aside, their spices are AMAZING. It’s nice being able to support a retailer guilt free. :)

Pro-Tip - Pie Spice is good on anything. Hot buttered popcorn? Pie Spice. Oatmeal? Pie Spice. Vanilla Ice Cream? Pie Spice.

They have a mix called “Mural of Flavor” and if you mix it with cream based soups? Cream of Chicken? Clam Chowder? Corn Chowder? Ends up tasting like Chicken in a Biscuit crackers.

I never gave thought to ordinary black pepper until I got Penzey’s Pepper and it was SO much better than standard grocery store pepper.

Mural is great on eggs too!

I can’t buy those crackers. I will eat the entire box in a matter of minutes.

Their spices are great! I really like the Arizona Dreamin one, great on eggs, makes for really good fry sauce seasoning. A lot of their spices are salt free too, so I can really control the amount of salt in my recipe

I did notice that they sometimes include political things on the bottle, usually without naming party names, so them being this direct seems a bit new. They always give you your spices with like 3 “I voted” stickers in the bag too.

I guess they are u.s. only? Haven’t heard of them until now but brief search sounds like they have some pretty hard to find stuff

Sounds like they’re willing to ship internationally!

I was interested too but on looking them up, the reason they’re popular in the US is just masses of sugar and salt, as usual

I’m surprised they don’t have butter in them lol

That’s not true at all. They have a wide variety of salt-free spice mixes…even a section of the product catalog for them.
