I’m sure radiation has worn down the paint job but no reason it’d be “burnt up”. Its orbit doesn’t put it anywhere near the sun or anything, it’s just floating back and forth between nearish earth and nearish mars
I’m sure the solar radiation hasn’t been kind to the plastic and rubber parts, either.
