Cats are carnivores
It would make more sense to feed your cat a meat-based diet
Obviously, cats in the wild don’t scavenge for veggies
That article’s source is a LinkedIn post 0_o
That would be interesting if true though, but seems cruel. I’ve considered this for my pets but thought it u healthy and mean
Cherry-picking while conveniently ignoring the study.
You reported my comment 0_o, the article cites that source. Chill.
How can you tell that I made a report? I did it because you’re arguing in bad faith.
The sources mentioned in the article are:
https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0284132
Because I’m an admin.
The source of your article is LinkedIn. Citing articles via a LinkedIn post still makes it a LinkedIn post. That isn’t peer reviewed. Stating fact based on your article and then sharing I’ve considered similar thoughts is not bad faith.
As usual for vegan communities, you’re assuming the worst. Immediately reporting a response that doesn’t 100% is why these communities are toxic.
You’re just focusing on the LinkedIn post while ignoring the substance of the article. Great a classic concern troll.
So, what nutrients were believed to only be available from animal based sources, and what plant based sources are they able to come from now?
I see a lot of people on both sides but nobody is discussing the actual nutrition deficits (or lack thereof)
There are kibble brands that have synthetic taurine, b12.
I just made my cat a garden salad with lettuce, cucumber, rocket, kale, and snow peas. he’s not eating it. What’s wrong?
That’s a strawman. Cats need to eat a plant-based kibble formulated with the necessary taurine and b12.
