I think people with publicly searchable addresses shouldn’t try to actively fuck over large swaths of people in one go. We should all act with integrity anyway, but boy when you’re public, it’s a really good idea to put in a little more effort on that front.

I think it’s pointless to point out that nobody else is stupid enough to think this, but here I am saying it anyway.
What’s more dangerous to me is the fact that the government is trying to restrict our sources of information. People are PISSED. And should they be setting fire to congressmen’s offices? Nah but there’s a reason people have fled to another Chinese app in protest.
What is that reason because I don’t get it?
Because if the US is putting up a firewall then it’s no better than China.
banning apps from being published in app stores isn’t even close to the same thing as the great firewall.
You just made me realize that TikTok is still available in browser form. What a bunch of fuss over nothing.
