I forgot to take my wallet out of my pants, and it was in the room. None of my cards worked in ATMs after that.
oh no!!!
troll science
Here’s a video of someone taking a handful of coins into an MRI.
Nothing happens, because coins in the US are made of non-ferrous materials.
The magnet is always on, mind you.
Gonna drink a few pounds of small magnetic bearing balls to MRI suicide
There was a woman not too long ago who went into an MRI wearing a butt plug with a metal core.
Holy Fuck, it went from her ass, deep into her chest core. Pierced by a dull object, i can’t even…
JFC, one article quotes, “like an anal rail gun”. In other news, I’m starting a band.
pop!
that’s fucked
US coins won’t work you small ball bearings
Thankfully we have other countries in the world
I’ve always wanted to be a frag grenade
would be about as effective as a cyber truck
It’s a magnetic resonance cascade Gordon!
Coins aren’t magnetic though
US ones aren’t but other countries exist
Thank you your pedanticism has been noted and filed away for reference
It’s at the same level as your comment if at all but go off.
Still pedantic
Yeah, this whole thread is pedantic, what’s your point?
I said it clear as day my man, no point, I just think what you said was pedantic . Don’t read too much into it
Oh, now I’m reading too much into it because I asked you what your point was? The math ain’t mathing, broski. You’re just mad someone replied to you matching your level of pedantry, aren’t you. lol
Don’t need to be. MRI will induce current in them which will make them magnetic.

Edit: for the pedants in the audience, I’m aware that they won’t be turned into permanent magnets. What I meant is that the electrons flowing through them will make them react to a magnetic field.

And hot.
