wrong, the Libertarian would gladly sell him a do a hitler salute pass™
Heil Coin.
the political compass is bullshit and the assigned wojacks are stupid. but yeah that’s a nazi doing a nazi salute.
That doesn’t look like a Nazi salute to me looks up the video of that OH FUCK!
Here’s how you know he wasn’t “throwing his heart out”: No gesture of that level of verve and publicity has EVER, in the history of media or public speaking, been interpreted as a Nazi salute EXCEPT a Nazi fucking salute.
They know it is, this is standard gaslighting, and wherever they do this it should be pointed out together with a video showing it side by side. So far I did not get response from them after that.
Yep, same thing happened when Laura Ingraham got carried away and did a Hitler salute. Not sure if that time she got the ADL to bat for her tho.
I looked up that video to see what she looked like doing it, and that looked way more accidental than Musk’s. I think she confused herself and did a mix between a stiff wave and pointing at the crowd, which she then started actually doing. That’s my take.
Disclaimer, I don’t even know who this Laura is, so this is strictly unbiased.
Nah, she started doing it and then transitioned to a wave to keep plausible deniability.
Nah, she didn’t.

I’m a little confused with the auth/right in this one
The extreme auth right, AKA the auth right of the US, are literal fascists and as such “secretly” approve. I’m personally picturing this as auth right talking to a like minded peer rather than to the general public, in which case it fits.
I think that’s right. It’s also just the way they’re depicted with the same head base as the others. Typically memes with these use the head base to denote respectability, like in the libertarian right, to degrade them. But they’re also a Nazi still? So I assume they’re not sympathetic to them. Feels like the meme equivalent of a typo I guess
I suppose if they used one of the “Total Idiot” heads for authright, they might be perceived an implication that authright is incorrect in this case. Whereas authright is actually correct for once, albeit for horrific reasons.
But I agree that it presents unnecessary ambiguity as it is. There was probably a better way, but PCMs are not known for their effort.
Yeah, I agree, now that you mention it. I’m thinking that the helmet and rather nondescript uniform are being asked to do significantly more heavy lifting than they’re rated for.
Still a good use of the format overall IMO, though 🤷
