If so, please remove the Autism Place links on the sidebar as the instance is dead. I wouldn’t mind a link to [email protected] either

I have put in a request to be made moderator. Hopefully we can make it more active here.

I Don’t think it is. the people I worked here with in the past have disappeared or moved on. I might try to create an alternative on dbzer0

Why not just request mod controls from l.w.? I could understand choosing an alternative if the comm was abandoned or bloated with spam, but this community is already active, so why move it?

But your account is 4 hours old. Why should I leave this established community with many users to go to a new one run by a new account?

I have simply switched instances. The server owner for autism.place disappeared one day, and that instance went under. As for leaving LW it is as i’ve mentioned above an occasion to de-centralise the fediverse a little.

It doesn’t look like the mod has had any activity for the last 5 months.

If it’s not how can we assign a new one? Or do we have to abandon it and create a new one?

Someone who is interested can either request the mod position from the l.w. mods, or create one. My instance lemmy.dbzer0.com is ND-positive if needed.
