A while ago Mull/Mulch (and DivestOS) died, and now this… I wonder what I’ll use now.
FF Android has had Addon support for a while now
True, but FF is wayy slower on low-end devices (like mine).
In case you were a Mull user and are looking for a replacement, IronFox is a fork of Mull.
I saw their repo but why not on standard F-Droid?
I think that depends on F-droid themselves building it. Ironfox have a github and their own F-droid repo, so you’ve got options at least.
They are also on Accrescent.
That’s a store I’m not familiar with but choice is good.
Yep. Using it for about 10 days. It was a drop-in replacement.
What happened to mull?
Died along with its parent project, DivestOS.
Edit: Of course the link is dead. First relevant link about the news.
Nooo! It was my main browser since they added extensions. While I also have Firefox installed, a chromium browser is still necessary because sites still prioritize that engine. And I am not gonna install edge or Samsung browser on my phone. Hoping for a community edition soon.
Cromite?
Cromite has no extension support though.
Thanks!
Shit, I really liked this one. Does anyone know of another android browser that lets you see the console/inspect element panel?
Is there any other chromium android browser that supports extensions?
afaik only closed source ones for now unfortunately. (yandex, etc)
Cromite fits imo.
I just deleted it like 3 days ago to download midori. Eerie coincidence
