Yeh! You should look into the Elephant 6 collective if ya like NMH, since they were a part of that scene. A lot of the folks who recorded on In the Aeroplane played and recorded in other bands like the Apples In Stereo, the Olivia Tremor Control, and there were heaps of other bands that played with 'em in Athens.

ahahaha sure enough usually im good with lyrics but i guess my brain kind of scrubs past that one
