When I was in elementary or junior high, we were asked to write an essay on what we thought the world would be like in 2025.
Not one single person thought the Nazis would return, let alone be Americans.
You’d think, the world would move forward not backwards.

This is more like 1933, in terms of parallels to Germany.
February barely started. Give it some time and the year will gain some personality of its own.
