This is pretty much the Nintendo equivalent of the tick-tock thing Intel used to do.
They’ll get away with it because they’ll release a new Mario Kart, Mario Party, Zelda, Metroid, <insert the rest of Nintendo’s IP here>.
Something that may save it is if they make it a full fledged media center with Dolby Atmos and HDR10+/Dolby Vision support and have it run streaming apps natively.
Buuut I suppose Nvidia will use this chip to release a Shield 2 or something.
