Also, it sure is interesting that the nationwide Associated Press went with this headline while the local Detroit Free Press felt that “Arab Americans in Michigan slam Trump’s Gaza plans, but also criticize Democrats” (archived) was a more accurate description of things.

Was working just fine, actually. We had constitutional protections at home, and Palestinians still at least had a homeland. Now we’ve got neither.
