well, this was expected, right? i mean, you know one of the side effects of trump becoming president is russia annexes ukraine, just gets the whole fucking thing, and publicly executes it’s current leadership and enslaves it’s populace, right?

I wonder how much the program actually seized. Imagine if we took all that money and used it to help people.

Just kidding, we probably built like 2 F-35s.

Good thing, Democratic youth stayed home and didn’t vote for “Genocide Joe”, and the majority of you here on Lemmy said at the time, “yes, understandable, good show, damn israel, do not vote for anyone you carrent not to my good people of the university commons, spread the world far and wide on national television, every fucking night, all spring and all summer and all fall in an election year, disrupt democratic candidates on the election trail, do it all, i bless you and keep you dears to my very own heart, you rapscallions”

Well, no one voted for"Genocide Joe" because Biden was not in the election. I’m sure there were a number of people, though, who abstained from voting for Harris because she also did not represent their wishes for the situation in Palestine, though to me that feels like being a single issue voter.

I don’t understand the quote or run-on sentence of yours. People should indeed try and campaign for candidates they believe align with their ideals of governance.

though to me that feels like being a single issue voter.

There were a lot of those, and many of them are still defending that choice in the face of everything happening.

Good thing the Democrats decided that appeasing a foreign government was more important than representing their own citizenry and winning the election. Their part in this whole thing was entirely their own choice.

Especially those people who claimed “it’s the most important election in our lifetime.” They should be outraged that Biden and then Harris, knowing what was at stake, chosen to ignore their base and the American people in favor of some wholly corrupt foreign government. This was low hanging fruit that they left to rot.

I’ve worked on DEI company groups before, all employee led. I can see some awkward argument around preferential treatment / reverse racism / whatever stupid term they want to use to cover bigotry. But internal employee groups that help build community are not causing the egg prices to go up. This is a waste of time and resources. Doesn’t the AG have more important tasks, like putting kids in cages or something?

I think the bots have arrived in force. Maybe Trump and Musk were so confident about their win prior to November 6th because they had an army of LLM bots online shaping everyone’s opinion.
