The guy, trying to be clever, asks, “so, got any grapes?”
“Come on bro”, the vendor responds unimpressed. “Beef or eel.”

I didn’t know if it would be too “on-line”. The “got any grapes” line is from a popular kid’s song about an annoying duck, and the pun, “Beef or eel” is a take on the shorthand, “Be for real” to express that someone should be more serious
